Twenty years ago, when he emigrated from County Derry, Ireland, Finbarr O’Kane brought with him a vision of one day owning his own construction company. He began working in construction upon his arrival in the States, and by 2001, that vision came to fruition when he started O’Kane Construction.
What began as a one-man operation has now become a full service, custom design, carpentry, and general contracting company with Finbarr at the helm. Armed with intense passion and an extreme dedication to customer service, Finbarr answers all phone calls that comes into O’Kane Construction as they ring directly to his cell phone. He oversees every single project, big and small, to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Beginning his day at 5:30 am, Finbarr arrives at his office to tackle paperwork and bidding, while he waits for his team to arrive at 7. Once all job assignments are complete and the O’Kane trucks are on the road, Finbarr spends the day in and out of client meetings, assessments, and checking in on jobs in progress. He then finishes up the day with more paperwork before getting ready to do it all over again in the morning.
Finbarr prides himself on what he refers to as “the human element”.
